The Facebook sign-up form plugin

Please be advised that only one Facebook account can be associated with an eFlyerMaker account.

With social media being more popular than ever, it was only a matter of time before marketers decided to use their Facebook page to promote their content. Always looking to be ahead of the curve your devoted eFlyerMaker team created a form builder for Facebook so people can sign-up to your newsletter through Facebook.

And here's how you add a newsletter signup form to your Facebook page

A ) In eFlyerMaker:

1. Go to Lists -> Manage publications

2. Click on the Sign-up HTML code action button of your publication
   

3. Click on the Plugins tab
   
   

4. Select Facebook

5. If needed, log in to your Facebook account

6. Choose the Facebook page on which to add the sign-up form
   
   

7. Two buttons will appear:

   1. Edit page: to edit the way the sign-up form should be displayed

   2. Add a Facebook page: to connect a new Facebook page

8. Enter the Header text: (you can use html or text) and Footer text: (you can use html or text) if you want one. You can add syles and classes to customize the form to your liking.
   
   
   
   
   

9. Check the fields you want featured on your Facebook form. You cannot uncheck mandatory fields

10. Change the Publication's subscription text, CASL consent text and Button text to your liking

11. Click Save

12. If you happen to have more than one Facebook page, click I want to add this form to a new Facebook page, to add it to all the pages you want (you must be an admin on those pages to do so).

B ) On your Facebook page:

The form is already available and functional on your Facebook page. Simply click on Newsletter Sign-up in the sidebar to see it

To change the name of your tab

1. Click Settings

2. Click Apps

3. Next to eFlyerMaker Sign-up Form Builder, Click on Edit Settings

4. Enter the name you'd like to give your form in the Custom Tab Name field

5. Click save, then click Ok

The Newsletter sign-up tab will now bear the new name.

If you don't like the tab's position in the sidebar, click Manage Tabs and change the order of the tabs by sliding them in the proper order and click Save

If you want to create a call-to-action sign-up form:

1. Click Settings

2. Click Apps

3. Click on eFlyerMaker Sign-up Form Builder

4. Click on link to this tab

5. Copy the url

6. Go back to the main page and click Add a button

7. Choose the Sign Up button

8. Paste the url in the Website field

9. Leave Set-up a link to an app? to no. (You don't want to lead them anywhere else, you just want them to sign-up to your newsletter)

10. Click Create

11. One of the main button is now Sign Up and is directly linked to your eFlyerMaker sign up form.

12. Enjoy

To delete a tab from your Facebook page

1. Click on Settings

2. Click on Apps

3. Click on the X next to the eFlyerMaker Sign-up Form Builder app.

4. Don't forget to delete the button if you created one

To reinstall a deleted tab

In eFlyerMaker

1. Go to Lists -> Manage publications

2. Click on the Sign-up HTML code action button of your publication

3. Click on the CMS Plugin tab

4. Click Facebook

5. Click I want to add this form to a new Facebook page and select the page you want to put it on

6. Two buttons will appear:

   1. Edit page: to edit the way the sign-up form should be displayed

   2. Add a Facebook page: to connect a new Facebook page

7. Go back to your Facebook page and refresh
8. The Newsletter tab should be back in the Sidebar menu

9. Enjoy
