Set up a sign up form

In this tutorial you will find the first step to create a basic signup form and how to display it in your webpage.

From the Shopify home page

• Click on Apps in the sidebar

• Click on eFlyerMaker Sign-Up form builder

Create a basic form

• Click on Create form

  • Give it a name *Mandatory field*
  • Description (not mandatory)
  • Add HTML Classes (not mandatory)
  • Add custom styles (not mandatory)
  • Select a publication (not mandatory but recommended)

  • As soon as you select a publication, a form will appear with the fields
    created according to the contact list linked to that publication.

  • Click on every field to customize them to your liking

• Click Save form

• Click Form Options

• Click on the Display options if its not already opened

• Select the Form to display:

• Select the Store Page(s) this form appears on: by clicking on it. If you want the form to appear on more than one page, hold down the Ctrl key for Windows or Command key for Mac, as you click

• Click Save Display options when you're done

• You can view your new form by clicking on View your online store and click on the different pages

• Congratulations!

Display the form as a pop up

• Click Form Options

• Click on the Display options if its not already opened

• Select the Form to display:

• Select the Store Page(s) this form appears on: by clicking on it. If you want the form to appear on more than one page, hold down the Ctrl key for Windows or Command key for Mac, as you click

• Check the Is a pop up form

• Click Save Display options when you're done

• You can view your new form by clicking on View your online store and click on the different pages

• Congratulations!

You can also click on Popup Options to customize your pop up form.

Display the form as a pop up with a trigger

Not only can you set your sign-up form as a pop up, you can also set it as a pop up with a trigger. For example: If someone clicks on a specific product on your website, the pop up form appears.

• Click Form Options

• Click on the Display options if its not already opened

• Select the Form to display:

• Select the Store Page(s) this form appears on: by clicking on it. If you want the form to appear on more than one page, hold down the Ctrl key for Windows or Command key for Mac, as you click

• Check the Is a pop up form

• Check the Popup form by trigger(s)

• Type in the trigger command

• Click Save Display options when you're done

• You can view your new form by clicking on View your online store and click on the different pages

• Congratulations!

You can also click on Popup Options to customize your pop up form.
